MNHS OOO: Developments in Nanoholography

Micro and Nanoholographic Systems (MNHS) OOO Small Innovative Enterprise is engaged in developing new products in optics, optoelectronics, micro- and nanooptics.

The company was founded in 2011 as a small innovative enterprise under Bauman Moscow State Technical University. The company has already been awarded with a medal for participation in the Days of Small and Medium Business held by the Russian Ministry of Education and Science.

The company is engaged in research and technological development of nanotechnologies, nano- and microsystem engineering within the special standards viewpoints on making optical elements and creation of micro and nanoholographic systems as well as production of holographic products, electro-optical holographic devices, and systems.

To produce holographic and diffractive optical elements (HOE-DOE) and security holograms, MNHS uses the following technologies:

  • analog laser technology for recording security holograms, HOE and DOE
  • digital laser technology (Dot-Matrix) for recording security holograms, HOE and DOE using Kinemax laser machine
  • laser technology for recording HOE and DOE by scanning an electron beam using laser lithography; electron-beam technologies for recording HOE and DOE (as big as 10 mm õ 10 mm)
  • laser technology for recording HOE and DOE by scanning an electron beam using laser lithography; electron-beam technologies for recording HOE and DOE (as big as 10 mm õ 10 mm)
  • technology for obtaining HOE and DOE by embossing polycarbonates (plastic cards) using hot pressing
  • technology for obtaining HOE and DOE by ion-plasma chemical etching using Caroline machine.

To extend scientific and business contacts, MNHS decided to participate in the Photonics. World of Lasers and Optics 2015 exhibition.
