Photonica. Lasers, Optics & Application'2010
Photonica. Lasers, Optics & Application'2010 – the 5th International Exhibition for Laser, Optical and Optoelectronic Technologies - was successfully held at Expocentre Fairgrounds on April 19-22, 2010. This unique event in the laser and optical industry was organized by Expocentre and the Laser Association. The exhibition was arranged with the support from the Russian Federation Ministry of Industry and Trade under the patronage of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation and the Moscow Government.
Messe Muenchen International - the German Exhibition Company and IMAG GmbH – the German Company took part in arrangement of the project for the first time.
Russia is one of the leaders in the laser and optoelectronic technology development. Photonica. World of Lasers and Optics’2010 has demonstrated the progress in this sphere once again.
148 companies from 10 countries participated in the exhibition. They were the following: Belarus, China, Finland, Germany, Japan, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Russia, Sweden and the USA.
The total exhibition space amounted to approximately 6 000 sq meters.
The compact exposition, extremely saturated with new developments, demonstrated the modern capabilities of laser technology, optoelectronics and optical instrument-making. It was attended by over 5 000 visitors, 94% of whom were professionals of the industry.
Laser and optical equipment and technologies, optoelectronics and photoelectronics showcased at the exhibition ensured not only new technological and design solutions in principal but high production standards, its flexibility and competitive ability.
Such well-known foreign companies as Ekspla, Hamamatsu, Jenoptik, IPG-Photonic, AAC Telecom, Oplatek, Ocean Optics, Standa and others demonstrated their products at Photonica. World of Lasers and Optics’2010.
During the show the thematic days were arranged.
The Day of Lasers in Industry opened the first series of congress events – research and practice conferences, round tables and presentations. The second day was dedicated to Laser medicine. The Day of Photonica for Control and Management Systems was next. The programme was finished with the Day of Safety Technologies.
Presentations of laser medical equipment, the Photonica’2020 programme draft by the European Commission and many other events held within the exhibition are of great importance for a speedy embodiment of innovative concepts and developments in specific projects.
The Photonica. World of Lasers and Optics’2010 exhibition has demonstrated the high efficiency and accessibility of laser equipment thus contributing to the expansion of the number of laser and optical technology users.
