Computerized goniometers GS-5 and GS-2 at Photonics exhibition
Computerized goniometers GS-5 and GS-2 will be presented at the Photonics exhibition on 4–7 March 2019. Computerized goniometer-spectrometers were created by upgrading the serial optical goniometer GS-5, GS-2, using angular motion encoders from RENISHAW, and are used for high-precision optical angle measurements.
Precision optics and mechanics, the absence of sliding bearings and transmitting couplings ensure the accuracy of the measurement in no more than one arc second. The device has two equivalent optical channels, which distinguishes it from modern analogs, and allows you to work with a digital camera, monitor and optical eyepiece at the same time for the production or control of optical components on the daily basis.
The software is adapted to work with spectral lines for measuring the refractive index by the method of the angle of least deviation (the Fraunhofer method). The presence of two channels makes it possible to measure the angle between the planes of the optical wedge by reflection.
The accuracy of the measurement at one reception of the GS-2 device is approximately 0.7" and is determined by the results of calibration. The products are included in the State Register of Measuring Instruments No. 57256-14.
Currently GS-2 digital successfully works in the leading metrological center of Russia – ROSTEST MOSCOW as the standard of the grade one by GOST 8.583.
