Participants in Photonics 2022 are interested in development of the laser industry standardisation
The Meeting of the Rosstandart Technical Committee ‘Optics and Photonics’ has taken place within the conference programme of Photonics. World of Lasers and Optics 2022 at Expocentre Fairgrounds. The event attracted closer attention of professionals.
The meeting participants discussed the state of technical regulation and development of legal framework for photonics technology in Russia. Rosstandart’s experts reported that in 2021 they had updated documentation and, as a result of great work, issued the first version of a catalogue of national standards, more than 200 of which were proposed by the Technical Committee. A particular focus was on the standard for statistical accounting of photonics products.
The industry representatives were informed that the national standardisation programme for 2022 consists of 6 projects. These are basic elements of construction, physical optics, lasers and related equipment, design of optical components and systems, ophthalmology optics, as well as object lens for optoelectronic systems.
