The field of lasers and optics-related science and technology is one of the most highly developed sectors in Russia. Photonics is considered to be one of the key driving forces for innovations in Russia. The market volume in laser technology is estimated at around $ 150 million, with an average annual growth rate of about 10%. The future demand for laser technology in Russia is predicted to remain at a high level and therefore opens up opportunities for industry relevant producers worldwide.
Under the roof of the official German joint pavilion, 20 export-oriented small and medium-sized manufacturers demonstrate their capabilities in the field of optronics and lasers.
